Born into a proud, centuries-old legacy of Shaolin warriors dedicated to protecting Earthrealm from invading realms, Kung Jin is a fighter through and through, quick (sometimes too quick) to jump into action whenever necessary. Blunt and occasionally rude with a biting sense of humor and quick tongue, but possesses a deep loyalty to teammates and a dedication to protecting civilians in spite of occasional ALASTAIR-related skepticism. Inquisitive and eager to learn, particularly about other worlds and cultures. Sleeps before 10 PM every night. Hates Jackie Chan's films.

ABILITIES

Kung Jin, a trained Shaolin monk, is a capable martial artist-- he is competent enough to fight with or without a weapon, typically utilizing acrobatic maneuvers and powerful, often airborne kicks. While not superhuman, he maintains peak physical condition and strength for a mortal human being.

Jin is also an expert marksman and makes precise, deadly shots with a bow and arrow. The bow he wields, a Kung family heirloom, is magic and can be summoned into or away from Jin's hand at will. It is also hefty enough to be used as a staff-like weapon. Arrows fired from his bow can be magically imbued with a poison, stunning, or flame spell. The ornamental dragon head at the top of the bow can also "breathe" small spurts of fire, in a short jet or a roughly fist-sized fireball. (It's Mortal Kombat, idk.)
